[ Okay, so, being told you have magic powers. No big deal, right? I mean, Kira's only been dreaming about things she could do her entire life, only to be told--and not until she was fourteen, either--surprise! You actually are kind of magical. For whatever reason, she'd been (probably ignored) by the whole ~ magic school~ thing, up until now. That was the problem with being supposedly "muggle born", but it didn't stop her dad from getting a job at the school as the new Muggle Studies professor, which brought Kira Yukimura to Hogwarts.
Hogwarts. Just saying it sounded kind of weird.
Either way, she was the only person on this train who wasn't like...eleven, that didn't have a special scarf on; Kira was outfitted in the robes they'd gotten yesterday and the uniform they'd sent her, but... that was about it. Nowhere to sit, no friends to make, just this wand she'd been given to use the magic powers she didn't know she had until about a month ago, with strict instruction not to use them until she actually got to the magic school.
Her first stop was at the candy cart, where a lanky dude was trying to barter with the woman selling the really weird candies. Guess that's a bust. Kira shifts and makes her way back towards her cabin, defeated and candy-less, and opens the door.
...Except that's not her door. And there is a very good looking boy sitting there. ] ...Oh.
