Really gave me a scare there. [ It's no secret that Annabeth instantly developed a fondness for Newt the moment she showed up in the Glade. Headstrong, though keen to follow most of the rules of this community. It wouldn't do to make enemies or start fights - even if she couldn't remember who she was or where she came from, she's still ever the pragmatist, choosing her fights wisely.

It's oddly timed, the accident. She and Newt had argued over Annabeth's desire to actually become a runner and Annabeth stormed out and decided not to speak to the other girl for quite some time. At least, until now.

It's not a horrible injury, a minor scrape, in fact, but she can't help but worry, pacing back in forth in her private quarters, hands folded behind her back. Surely, it's a breach of some boundaries, but she couldn't care less. ]
