[ shinji is busy and that is the worst. sure, eijun's a busy guy too, he's got baseball to be training for and books that he should probably be reading for class that he definitely is not reading, but this is different. it's been days since they've gotten to spend any time together, save for shinji looking dead eyed in his direction with regards to his studying. he didn't even get a bop on the head for a dumb comment, it was that bad.
so, he misses him while he's busy. eijun can pitch until the cows come home but it doesn't change the fact that he feels a weird empty space where he's used to sleeping next to someone and holding someone's hand on the way to the dining hall. his plan was to come over and write EIJUN WAS HERE all over his whiteboard in his room, but in doing so, eijun had to climb on his bed and thus stopped, flopping down on it and whining face first into the pillows.
...which smelled like shinji.
which is now where he is, two hours later, making an unattractive face and probably drooling a little into his pillow. he stirs a little when he feels the bed dip, hears his name, but eijun just grumbles and rolls over towards the new source of warmth which he vaguely recognizes as shinji. a little bit of burrowing and he gets comfortable up against him, wriggling under the arm until he's cozy. ah, yes. perfect. ]
