[ There are good days, and there are days where you just have to go with the flow. As in, there aren't "bad" days for Kaoru, or at the very least, they're rare enough with his mood he can shrug them off.
This... This definitely counts as a bad day. Kaoru was skipping for part of the school period nothing new. Here he is, sitting down on the roof after school, with a box in his hands. Also he looks less than tidy, like he smacked into... pavement, grass, something? A mess. He'd normally clean himself up, but he's a bit preoccupied. ]
You're... kind of a handful, you know? This is one favor from a pretty girl I might have to turn down next time. Hey, don't give me that look, you're not as cute as your owner.
[ Yes, he's talking to whatever's in the box, spacing out to where he might just want to sleep off the stress siting where he is. If a certain member of Ra*bits happens to sneak up and see what's in there... Surprise! It's a friend! Maybe. Who starts getting excited enough to rustle the box and snap poor Kaoru out of it though. ]

[ nazuna's having a pretty normal day, all the things considered. the school day's over, and he thinks he might have left his chopsticks up on the roof, since he and kuro usually have lunch up there. they're from his favorite bento, so he might as well take a look...though what he finds makes him forget about it entirely.
he hears kaoru talking before he sees him, and nazuna steps a little out of the way so he can watch him for a second. well... they're not supposed to be on the roof when it's not lunchtime anyway, and he's curious about the box, which means nazuna is going to be tiptoeing righ over towards him. he's so cool and sneaky, as he peers over his shoulder, and -- ]
Ohh, cute! [ completely forgets about being sneaky in the face of a precious little bunny. ] Kaoruchin!
[ Nazuna... Well, you got him. Mmm, how did the girl hold him? Kaoru's gentle with the bun as he scoops her out the box. ]
Here, I'm supposed to take care of her while her owner is on a trip, but I can't take her home... I can't believe I went back here to get some food. I wanted to skip!
[ Yumenosaki has the supplies he needs with their own animal pens, but there's no way he can keep or hide her with those rabbits... It would be mean. "Honey" has definitely taken a shine to Kaoru though, not wanting to be handed off to Nazuna so soon. So squirmy... ]
I came up here to get my lunch box, and I saw you and thought you were skipping--you need to go to class, Kaoruchin--and-- no, stop, stop, she likes you!
[ it seems even everyone's favorite niichan is weak in the face of cute animals. he's especially weak in the face of cute rabbits. this one's soft and a pretty honey color, not white like his precious pet back home. his rabbit behaves much of the same: though he's friendly, there's no one he loves more than nazuna, and he'll rarely want to be passed around or moved.
he holds up both of his hands to keep kaoru from handing him the rabbit, but reaches out to let her sniff his hand, a bright, cheerful smile lighting up his face immediately. nazuna directs that sunshine on kaoru once the rabbit leans in and sniffs his fingers. ] You brought her to school?
