( the way ichiro comes across as a goddamn puppy all the time isn't lost on samatoki. at first, he found it really annoying, what with the kid wagging his tail and trailing behind him no matter where he went but he grows used to it soon enough and now it's almost a welcomed addition to his life. something he even looks forward to when he comes home from a long day just like this.
ichiro doesn't need to know that samatoki was happy when he saw him still asleep in his bed. it might make him explode because he can't handle that much sunshine in his life, not this late at night anyway — )

( breakfast does sound nice though... but he's not about to admit that easily because he's an idiot. he's more content to go back to bringing ichiro closer to him because he's warm. it's what makes falling asleep next to him the best thing in the world. )
