[ wataru's not the only one who goes all out for christmas. it's nazuna's favorite holiday (even over easter, which, coincidentally, are the exact two times that he still goes to church) because it always meant good things in the nito house. before he started working, the nitos had tiny, homemade christmases, one gift each and mass at midnight, and as nazuna got older, he poured his child star money into their household, so his siblings could rip open presents for hours and their house was decorated, roof to basement. even before the nitos had any money, every corner of the house was festive and bright.
so, that love for christmas has carried on since. nazuna's classroom is also bursting to the seams with decorations. there's tinsel on the chalkboard, fairy lights and kindergarten colored ornaments hanging from strings of twine over the top of the room, making the whole place feel homey and bright. even with no students (they'll be back tomorrow, delighted at the winter wonderland their classroom is becoming), there's soft christmas music playing in the background while he hangs garlands up by the door.
and..., luckily, he doesn't understand any french at all, really, because wataru is right. the garland he's trying to put up should go on top of the door, and even though nazuna's standing on one of the stools he uses in the reading corner, on his very, very , very tiptoes, he just can't quite reach the hooks he hung up with an actual ladder at the beginning of the year.
wataru coming in and speaking up doesn't stop him from his mission, as he reaches and reaches. ] Please don't. [ get on your bended knee... he wouldn't put it past wataru to pretend propose to him or something equally ridiculous. ] Just a ...little more...unyan!
