[Ryuu heard the rumors about the beast that lived in the castle outside the village. That the beast used to be human before being cursed by a witch. Another rumor that passed through the village was the beast would attack anyone that came close to his castle. No one ventured towards the castle for that reason. There were more rumors about the beast that Ryuu brushed aside. He didn't think the beast would leave his castle to come attack the village. He wondered how the beast lived in the castle all alone. Who made his meals? Who kept him company? Was he really violent? The people in the village always warned him not to go to the castle cause he might not come back. Ryuu reassured them that he wouldn't leave even if he was curious about the beast he didn't want to risk anything.
Until one day when one of his brothers chased after their dog that ran into the forest. Ryuu chased after him and managed to catch up to him before he stepped foot in the castle. He told his brother to go back home and he would get the dog. When his brother ran back into the village Ryuu looked up at the castle. It was much bigger in person. He admired the beautiful windows, garden, and staircase on his way inside. He knew he wasn't supposed to come here, but he promised his brother he would get the dog back he couldn't break his promise!
Ryuu stopped in front of the two large doors as he raised his hand to knock when the door opened. He pushed it the rest of the way on his way inside the foyer. Everything looked so expensive, Ryuu hoped the dog didn't knock over anything they wouldn't be able to pay for it. He couldn't help looking at the beautiful paintings on the walls while he walked around. Ryuu found their dog cowering behind one of the end tables towards the corner of the room.]
There, there it's alright let's get back home. [Ryuu picked up the dog and quickly walked towards the front door. He really should leave before he upset the beast. He grabbed the handle of the door to push it open when it wouldn't budge. Oh no, is he locked inside? Okay, he can find another way out. It's a big enough castle he can find another exit. Ryuu turned around to get ready to look for another exit when he stopped at the figure at the top of the stairs.
It was the beast. Ryuu thought he would be afraid, that he would want to run away the minute he saw the beast. Instead he couldn't look away. The beast was beautiful from his soft pink hair, to his eyes, down to this wings. He's never seen such beautiful wings before, not even on the nicest bird. He stared at the beast at a loss for words. He snapped out of it when the dog started growling in his arms.]
No, no we're the ones coming here without permission. [Ryuu settled the dog down before he turned back to look at the beast.]
I'm sorry for coming here without your permission. I was trying to get my dog back and I can't seem to get out. Once I find the other way I'll be out of here before you know it!
