1. ALADDIN The classic rags to riches story. One's royalty, and one's not, and they'll do anything to win the heart of their beloved--or at least besotted--even if it means pretend to be rich.
2. SLEEPING BEAUTY A character has been cursed, doomed to sleep forever. Only true love's kiss can wake them up.
3. ALICE IN WONDERLAND Things have gotten curioser and curioser, as a character's transported deep into a magic land where things aren't quite what they seem. A magical court, a reigning queen, talking animals--whatever you have it, you think you probably need to get out of this place and back home. But will your partner help you or harm you?
4. THE LITTLE MERMAID You're a mermaid, for whichever reason. Falling in love with people who have legs is such a chore, but sometimes love requires sacrifice.

With a wolf on your heels, you better start hoping the wolf is kinder than you think--or if not, that you'll run into a kind huntsman to help save the day. Or, even if not that, you'll rely on your powers of badassery to beat the wolf yourself!
10. GOLDILOCKS & THE THREE BEARS Someone's sleeping in your bed! Kick them out, let them stay. I'm not judging.c
11. TARZAN Someone isn't what you'd maybe call a functioning human being. But that's alright--being raised by monkeys (or wolves, or what have you) isn't a reason not to try and understand them. In fact, maybe you're intrigued by the way they look at life. They could certainly teach you as much as you taught them.
12. PINOCCHIO You're a real boy! Whether you were a puppet or a robot, something--and who only knows what--has turned you into a human. Maybe it was just the love of your creator. Maybe it was a little fairy. Who knows.
13. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Hope you like your prince/sses furry.

[ It's cold and salty and wet and he hates it and his clothes are ruined and it's so wet.

But Shu isn't actually worried about that, because Shu is drowning. In fact, Shu is pretty sure he's dying. His lungs are burning and his vision is fading, the already dark waters seeming to close in on him even faster than they already are. His head hurts and his limbs aren't moving the way he wants them to, and the added weight of his soaked clothing is only making things worse.

He can't see, he can't breathe, he can't think - and then suddenly he can.

Or rather, he can squint blearily with stinging eyes while he coughs up a lungful of water and drags in ragged gasps while his mind tumbles around trying to figure out what just happened. Those are like seeing, breathing, and thinking, right? He's still not going anywhere anytime soon, but he's in slightly better shape than he was a few minutes ago. Better enough that he can finally lift his head and cast a dazed look around.

[Things weren't too great ever since their father, the Woodcutter, remarried. His new wife detested the Woodcutter's son and daughter. Not just because they were both---as she put it, "freaks of nature", but there was also the fact they did not have much in terms in food and wealth. They're just two more mouths to feed. And so, the pair's Stepmother convinced the Woodcutter to lead and abandon them in the woods. Such was the story of Hansel and Gretel.

Or rather, Mika and Suzu, lost in the woods, unable to find their way back thanks to forest birds pecking away their route---a trail of crumbs from a loaf of bread Suzu stole on their way out. And Suzu is quite close to losing her patience.]

[It isn't so much a castle like in tales, but it's still a lonely house tucked away in the forest, paths winding and confusing to navigate. It isn't very abandoned looking either. The gardens seem oddly manicured, there's no dust, but the doors creak and floors just the same.

There's the occasional shuffle of... something... in the house, and that usually spooks anyone who's been dared to spend the night; Akira, though, seemingly has no care or too much curiosity for his own good to be staying here, either on the somewhat lumpy couch or in one of the unused bedrooms. Most of the doors are unlocked save a few, so it's not hard to find.

Nonetheless. There's an old grandfather clock that works despite its clear age, and as it ticks over past midnight there's more shuffling sounds, heavier from their plodding, and then a door Akira can surmise from his earlier exploration that leads outside. Black feathers scatter along the way.]

[Robin peered from around the bush to make sure the coast was clear before she got up to continue her journey. She thought she found a village that welcome witches, until their leadership changed then her safe home became a dangerous one again. She thought she did so well to hide her status as a witch, she didn't count on someone faking an injury to trick her into using her magic. It led her to being discovered and running away from another placed she thought would be her home. Well, she would find another one, hopefully one that accepted her and her magic.

Robin continued walking, looking around to make sure those guards were gone, until she made it to another village. It looked like it was a good place, a beautiful field, and cute little houses. She could live here, but before she properly introduced herself she needed to clean up. Robin walked over towards the nearest empty house to catch her breath when she heard someone nearby. She eased back over to the bushes to watch them. If it was one of the guards, she'd get them back this time. Robin blinked in surprise when she saw a young man walk over to the house instead. Wait, he lived here by himself?

Robin moved towards another bush to be able to watch better when she stepped on a twig. She looked back over to see if the young man noticed.

[ once upon a time, nazuna's fairy god...father had been a little overzealous when he'd fond that he wasn't planning on going to prince hakaze's ball. it was supposed to be for the prince to find a wife, nazuna had pointed out, and also for rich people, and maybe it would've been a little fun, and that had just been it.

granted, the fairy godfather seemed to be more in a fuss that nazuna wasn't going because nazuna was the 'most beautiful creature in the kingdom', or something equally ridiculous, and the next thing he'd known, he was swept right away from his cleaning and right into the most ridiculously beautiful outfit he'd ever seen in his entire life. it would've been great if, you know.

he was a girl, and therefore wanted a dress.

but the fairy godfather was unconcerned, prattling on and on about his perfect creation as he'd sent nazuna to the ball, and it was a shame it was all just going to disappear at midnight, so he better prove to the world the master work of shu itsuki is so easily enhanced by you, nito-- or something. he'd gotten tossed right into the middle of everything, swept into a dance with the prince, just another pretty, nameless princess in a sea of pretty, nameless princesses.

so it wasn't like he could talk, all that much, but he danced with the prince, and... it was actually really nice. they'd separated out from the party and spent a little time together, and nazuna had eventually copped to his first name and started talking to him. things were going well, and for someone who's too practical for these kind of love stories and fairy tales, it felt... maybe just a little bit like love at first sight.

however, just when nazuna was about to tell him (because kaoru made a comment about how pretty he looked and he felt, somewhere, a nerve snap), he'd taken his hands and the clock struck midnight, which meant this rabbit was fleeing as fast as he could.

that was a week ago, now. it's been a week since he's fled, leaving behind the tiny glass slipper on the stairs, and nazuna's trying to forget about it. that person he'd felt --something for, that fairy tale he lived, that wasn't real. how would the prince even react if he knew?

it's stupid things, he chastises himself, for even trying to live like that for a day. stupid itsuki, sweeping him off into things he's not ready for. he's cleaning the cobwebs from the upper level of his staircase with a broom to try and chase away the thoughts of the ball (the music, the food, the prince's real smile--) like they're cobwebs, too.

of course, he wasn't aware of the tiny trail of breadcrumbs he'd left for the prince. he certainly wouldn't be expecting a visitor. ]

Beauty and the Beast time!

[Ryuu heard the rumors about the beast that lived in the castle outside the village. That the beast used to be human before being cursed by a witch. Another rumor that passed through the village was the beast would attack anyone that came close to his castle. No one ventured towards the castle for that reason. There were more rumors about the beast that Ryuu brushed aside. He didn't think the beast would leave his castle to come attack the village. He wondered how the beast lived in the castle all alone. Who made his meals? Who kept him company? Was he really violent? The people in the village always warned him not to go to the castle cause he might not come back. Ryuu reassured them that he wouldn't leave even if he was curious about the beast he didn't want to risk anything.

Until one day when one of his brothers chased after their dog that ran into the forest. Ryuu chased after him and managed to catch up to him before he stepped foot in the castle. He told his brother to go back home and he would get the dog. When his brother ran back into the village Ryuu looked up at the castle. It was much bigger in person. He admired the beautiful windows, garden, and staircase on his way inside. He knew he wasn't supposed to come here, but he promised his brother he would get the dog back he couldn't break his promise!

Ryuu stopped in front of the two large doors as he raised his hand to knock when the door opened. He pushed it the rest of the way on his way inside the foyer. Everything looked so expensive, Ryuu hoped the dog didn't knock over anything they wouldn't be able to pay for it. He couldn't help looking at the beautiful paintings on the walls while he walked around. Ryuu found their dog cowering behind one of the end tables towards the corner of the room.]

There, there it's alright let's get back home. [Ryuu picked up the dog and quickly walked towards the front door. He really should leave before he upset the beast. He grabbed the handle of the door to push it open when it wouldn't budge. Oh no, is he locked inside? Okay, he can find another way out. It's a big enough castle he can find another exit. Ryuu turned around to get ready to look for another exit when he stopped at the figure at the top of the stairs.

It was the beast. Ryuu thought he would be afraid, that he would want to run away the minute he saw the beast. Instead he couldn't look away. The beast was beautiful from his soft pink hair, to his eyes, down to this wings. He's never seen such beautiful wings before, not even on the nicest bird. He stared at the beast at a loss for words. He snapped out of it when the dog started growling in his arms.]

No, no we're the ones coming here without permission. [Ryuu settled the dog down before he turned back to look at the beast.]

I'm sorry for coming here without your permission. I was trying to get my dog back and I can't seem to get out. Once I find the other way I'll be out of here before you know it!
